Old Farts - Laughing
We have this:
I decided to buy it for the bedroom so he can turn on and off the light without too much grumbling. Well, it does do that and a lot more. For some unknown reason, it will just turn on responding to such sounds as laughing or coughing. Other times, it turns on just to let us know it is still working. We laugh a lot at the funny times it just goes on. Then we have to clap it off again which isn't as simple as getting the silly thing to go on. I have had to clap a lot, laughing and trying to get the clap at just the right pitch. Sore hands can happen.
Anyway, I found a clapper owner on a TV show we watch - "Fringe"
Walter has a clapper too! In one scene he was asked to turn off all the lights in his lab. A look of shear delight over came him as he clapped all the lights off. Frank and I dissolved in fits of laughter since we knew exactly what he had. Walter is the best character on that show. He gets the best lines because he plays a person who is just this side of being insane, in a good way....
I suppose we are a bit insane too. After all who admits to owning The Clapper??!!
