Bless this Mess
I have been remiss. Not blogged as much as I usually do. No earth shattering excuse, just the reg doo-dahh going on. Events in the blogasphere worth noting: Multiply has done an upgrade of sorts, although my server has not pushed it through to moi. Yahoo 360 has announced the bitter end is at hand. From the looks of it, it will be rather half-arsed and is doomed to peter out. It will be known as yahoo zilch. I have already moved my contents to what I was told will be my new yahoo profile. Then I closed it all up. What happened in Yahoo 360 stays in Yahoo 360.
Regarding Twitter... it is still interesting to me. Not going to go above 100 peeps that I will follow. From time to time will check in to see if who I follow is also following me. It is not like face book at all. I use the Face to connect to family only, plus a very few others who are Face worthy. I prefer to blog at Multiply and use this to insert my blogs at word press and blog spot plus spamming this URL from Twitter. I like to use monentile to send out a photo or 3. I think the music apps that allow one to Twit are fun.
I don't have a blackberry or an Ipod. The cell we do use is for rare usages and does not have a camera. We are ZOOMERS with an attitude against new devices that relieve you of living in the NOW. The now is in the house because the black flies are vile. F. managed to get the flats planted in the barrels and rock garden. I still have to re pot the herbs and buy the cherry tomato plants. Was thinking about peppers plant too. Somehow, knowing that the belladonna family does cause inflammation gives me pause about any of it. Would rather grow spinach or lettuce... humm maybe I can in a small way.
Going to town hall meeting on Monday to raise a little hell about some folks who rent their home out by the week. As you can imagine, it is not cool at all. Tenants have no respect for the community or the environment. Not sure exactly what will be accomplished, but if the powers that be see a bunch of angry residence maybe they will actually do something. The cynic in me says they will just answer us with the usual yaddda yaddda yaddda.
No plans to anything extravagant this summer other than just enjoying the lake, swim a little, listen to the loons and spend time with the grandchild. Up date on neighbour that had the stroke. She is recouping day by day. Still unable to talk or move right side. Ya just never know what is gonna happen. Remain grateful for the little time we have to spend above ground. We will all be dead a very long time.
Such an up thought.. haha. Again my dark humor rises to the top.
